Welcome to mATchup, created by the Johns Hopkins Center for Technology in Education (CTE). This dynamic tool is designed to help educators, parents and caregivers to find high-quality and affordable assistive technologies and apps that can be used by all children with a particular focus on the needs of students who face challenges or who have disabilities.

The high tech and low tech resources are divided into six key areas:  Academic; Writing; Auditory; Organization; Vision; Communication; Seating, Positioning and Mobility; and Independent Living, and are all designed to help children at home, in a childcare setting or in school. Users can search by category and see recommendations for apps or tools or both. This is not an exhaustive list, and will continue to be updated as new tools are investigated. mATchup does not take the place of the IFSP or IEP process, but is designed to help inform all potential tool users of the relative purposes and benefits of our featured tools, and to allow all members of the IFSP/IEP team to have informed opinions on what tools might work during the team discussion.
